During the reporting period the Coy were employed on OP BURNHAM
29 Aug - 30 Sep.
'G' MATTERS

From 30 Aug - 14 Sep, V Coy HQ with 1 P1 and 3 P1 deployed as protection
for US Land Clearing Team. 2 Pl was detached to FSB Diggers Rest.
During this period two caches were found containing the following

3. On 14 Sep 2 PL rejoined the Coy and the Coy was then
the task to patrol in the North - Eastern area of AO STUART.
4. On 15 Sep 3 PL found a VC explosives factory
and cache consisting of: -

Discipline. During the period there were 8 CO's Orders only.
7. Manning: The only strength change was 537508
Ate McRae ENK marched in from Malaya.
8. Leave. During the period 4 soldiers proceeded
on R & R leave to Singapore, 1 to Hong Kong and 1 to Taipei.
9 soldiers proceeded to Singapore on R & C leave and 4 to Vung
Tau.
9. Medical. During the period :-
7 soldiers to Hospital.

Visits.Comd V Force Lt Col Fenton paid a visit to V Coy whilst the
Coy were moving into NDP Commanche on 9 Sep 69.

Stores: On the handover of V Coy to ACoy 6 RAR/NZ(ANZAC) Bn at NDP
Commanche several V Coy Stores were handed over to A Coy. These
stores were subsequently passed on to 9 RAR. At the time of writing
these stores have not yet ben returned to V Coy. Enquires are under
with the QM 6 RAR/NZ to effect the return of these stores.
